David C. Giuntoli is an American actor born on June 18, 1980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He first gained attention as a participant on MTV's Road Rules: South Pacific and later appeared on Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet. In 2007, he moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue an acting career. He is best known for starring as Detective Nick Burkhardt on the NBC supernatural drama Grimm from 2011 to 2017 and as Eddie Saville on the ABC drama A Million Little Things from 2018 to 2023. His film credits include 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and Buddymoon, both released in 2016. Additionally, he has made appearances on numerous television series such as Nip/Tuck, Veronica Mars, Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Privileged, Without a Trace, and Cold Case.
