Biography

Chick Chandler, born Fehmer Christy Chandler on January 18, 1905, in Kingston, New York, was an American film character actor who appeared in over 130 films between 1925 and the mid-1950s. He often played comedic roles and was known for his work in films such as It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, I Wake Up Screaming, A Star Is Born, and Show Boat. Chandler also appeared in the short-lived television series Soldiers of Fortune. He died on September 30, 1988.
