It becomes clear that the extraterrestrial force intends to launch an attack with the goal of total annihilation over the Fourth of July weekend. On July 3rd, the aliens proceed to obliterate targets. The last hope to stop the destruction rests with an unlikely group of people united by fate and unimaginable circumstances as they face a force of incredible magnitude determined to invade and destroy Earth.
