Godzilla 1998

Overview

The film "Godzilla" is a science fiction monster movie. It begins with a sequence of events involving French nuclear tests that have an unintended consequence on an iguana. The creature grows to a massive size and starts attacking freighter ships in the Pacific Ocean. A team of experts is assembled to investigate the cause of the attacks and they conclude that the oversized reptile is responsible. The team's conclusion is later confirmed when the giant lizard is spotted in Manhattan. The US military is then involved in an effort to destroy the monster before it can reproduce and its offspring cause further destruction.
