Andrea Anders was born in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1975. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in 1993 and later received her BFA from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and her MFA from Rutgers University. Anders began her career in theatre in 2001. Her television debut occurred in 1998, in an episode of the series "One Life to Live". She is known for playing the lawyer Alex Garrett in the series "Joey", a spin-off of "Friends". Anders has primarily developed her career in television and has 33 known credits.
