Alex Désert is a Haitian-American actor born on July 18, 1968. He is known for his roles in television series including The Flash, Becker, and Boy Meets World. Désert is also a founding member of the Los Angeles-based ska band Hepcat. He co-starred with Matt LeBlanc in the CBS program TV 101 and played police lab scientist Julio Mendez in The Flash from 1990 to 1991. Désert also appeared in the short-lived Fox series The Heights in 1992 and played Eli Williams on Boy Meets World from 1995 to 1996. He has a career spanning multiple television shows and is a musician.
