Talking to reporters, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Manh – Deputy Director of Z121 Factory said that this year, the factory produced over 6 million fireworks products to serve the people during the 2024 Lunar New Year. According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Manh, to meet people’s needs for using fireworks, from the beginning of 2023, Factory Z121 has improved production capacity, invested in more machinery and equipment, and expanded the factory. workshop and recruited 300 more people to train in fireworks production.
Around the time of Tet, redundant workers from other production lines are also mobilized to focus on fireworks production. In the past, workers produced fireworks manually, but now factory officials have researched the use of machinery and equipment to produce fireworks to reduce the burden and toxicity for workers, while increasing labor productivity. .

Faced with the current situation of producing and trading fake and counterfeit fireworks products with potential safety risks, from 2023, Z121 factory’s fireworks products will be improved. The factory uses a one-piece truss manufactured on an industrial model, stamps and designs are printed sharply and each product is affixed with a variable QR Code.
Specifically, the variable QR Code is the identifier for each product. This code has the effect of tracing the origin of each type and price so that people can buy genuine products.
To distinguish between real and fake goods, people use their smartphones to scan the QR Code to look up product information such as: Production date, expiry date and product name. From there, users can compare the information displayed when scanning the QR Code and the information on the product packaging.
In addition, people can observe with the naked eye to identify fake and counterfeit goods such as packaging that is not sharp and letters that are not clear.
To promote propaganda and raise people’s awareness of the safe use of fireworks and where to sell the products, the Z121 factory has coordinated with press and media agencies to propagate cases where they are used. firework.
