JM 625 Charge Hole Repair
The bad news is in a former life I let a kitchen counter gunsmith jack up the charge holes on a Smith & Wesson 625 revolver. I has asked him to chamfer the holes for faster full-moon reloads.
In hindsight it was a dumb move. And looking back almost 20 years, I should have just manned up and found and honest to goodness, real gunsmith to do this type of work.
Now here’s the good news: I had forgotten that in the process of hiring a “new gunsmith” some years later, I had given him this project as kind of a test / nice to meet you kind of introduction.
In summary: The JM 625 charge hole issue is fixed and OFF the armory’s to do list. Words can’t convey how happy this makes me feel even when realizing it’s inclusion was a mistake.
Sincerely,
Marky
