Resolve the risk of harming the environment

According to environmental experts, speeding up bidding for wastewater treatment packages at Nam Son landfill is very necessary to ensure treatment and reduce the amount of wastewater remaining at the treatment area, ensuring Environmental hygiene, avoiding possible consequences.

Nam Son landfill alone is currently receiving 4/5 of the city’s solid waste volume. In recent years, when the landfill cells were full and new landfill cells could not be expanded, Nam Son landfill often faced the risk of being overloaded and unable to meet practical requirements.

This situation causes the units in charge to implement temporary and urgent solutions to maintain operations and ensure environmental security for the city.

Up to now, the area for receiving garbage and treating leachate has basically been treated. Specifically, for the work of receiving leachate, Nam Son landfill stores 636,124m3 in 8 locations. The unit has received the emergency biological reservoir in the 10.5ha interlocking cell with a capacity of more than 440,000m3, so it can be said that at this point, the inadequacies in the operation and management of Nam Son yard are not too much. many complex existences. However, in the long term, this work needs to be enhanced with technological solutions, avoiding the risk of damaging the soil, groundwater and air environment.
