Hanoi: Launching an agricultural tourism model associated with the community
The model of agricultural tourism associated with the community – Viet Harvest Agri Tour with the participation of 18 farmers in the clean vegetable farm area, Giang Bien ward, Long Bien district, is built on the foundation of social responsibility associated with the community. with the community, through improving and diversifying income sources for people.
Visitors coming to this agricultural tourism model can experience 3 products: a day as a farmer for adults; agricultural semester tours for students and teenagers; The third tour is green living – healthy living.

With all of these agricultural tours, visitors will experience farming, how to plant, care for and harvest fruit, root vegetables and leafy vegetables. Besides, visitors are also instructed to prepare suitable dishes with clean vegetables in Giang Bien garden. At the same time, experience and explore traditional craft villages such as cooking banh duc, weaving hammocks, and rattan weaving.
Sharing about the agricultural tourism model, Mr. Raj Kumar Director of VietED Center: “Our agricultural model aims at sustainability. TAF and Vieted together came up with the idea of building an agricultural tourism model that does not exceed close and too far from the center of Hanoi capital, where there are agricultural activities and experiences. Therefore, when we embark on implementing the agricultural tourism model, it is based on the existing foundation in the farm – vegetable area. clean Giang Bien ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi.
With the agricultural tourism model, the main nucleus implementing the model chain is 18 farming households in Giang Bien ward.
