The MU legend became the new coach of the Singapore national team.
The two important candidates selected by the Singapore Football Association (FAS) are coach Park Hang-seo, former Vietnam national team coach, and MU legend Paul Ince. In the end, Mr. Park was not enthusiastic and coach Paul Ince was selected.
New coach Paul Ince is highly appreciated for his “English football school” of playing long balls, attacking the sideline and turning the wing to head, in line with Singaporean football philosophy. Mr. Paul Ince will lead the Singapore team to continue with the 2026 World Cup/Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers.
On the evening of December 26, Coach Park Hang-seo attracted attention when he was present at Hang Day Stadium to watch the match between CAHN Club and Binh Duong, when the police team was preparing to fire coach Gong Oh-kyun. Coach Park Hang-seo sat and watched the match in the VIP area of Hang Day Stadium with a representative of DJ Management company.
Coach Park’s appearance took place at a “sensitive” time when there were rumors of him joining a V.League team.
