The SABC launched its dedicated 24-hour news channel, SABC News Channel. On Thursday, the 1st of August 2013, the Public Broadcaster goes live on channel 404. Former President Jacob Zuma was the first guest to be interviewed on the SABC’s 24-hour television news channel.
