Regarding the case of a gas delivery woman being murdered and hiding her body in a septic tank for 13 years, the Hai Phong Police Department has temporarily detained Bui Trung Thanh (born 1993, residing in village 5, Lai Xuan Commune, District 1). Thuy Nguyen, Hai Phong) to investigate murder and robbery.
At the police station, Thanh admitted that on December 9, 2010, he robbed Ms. T. at Mr. NVQ’s house and then caused the woman’s death. After committing the crime, Thanh hid the victim’s body in a septic tank behind Mr. Q’s house. At the time of the crime, Thanh was only 17 years old.

According to sources Vietnamese peopleThanh is the stepchild of Mrs. H. This woman has an affair with Mr. NVQ and lives with Mr. Q. as husband and wife in the house with the above water tank.
In 2009, Mr. Q. served a prison sentence. A year later, Ms. H. also served her prison sentence. At this time, Thanh lived alone in that house.
On December 9, 2010, Thanh caused the death of Ms. NTT while robbing her property at this house. After that, the suspect hid the victim’s body in the water tank behind Mr. NVQ’s house. After killing the victim, Thanh left and did not stay at this house anymore. The water tank area is also abandoned, few people pay attention.
After 13 years since Thanh committed the crime, Mr. Q. was the one who discovered Ms. T.’s remains in the wastewater tank while looking for a lost dog.

Before that, on the evening of December 6, Mr. NVQ (in Lai Xuan commune) went looking for the family dog. When he arrived at the septic tank that had been abandoned for many years in a garden without walls, he was worried that the dog might fall into the nearby tank so he came closer to check.
Here, Mr. Q. discovered an intact set of remains inside the water tank. Immediately afterwards, Mr. Q. reported the incident to the local authorities.
DNA examination results requested by Hai Phong Police showed that the remains belonged to Ms. NTT (born 1988), showing signs of being beaten and causing injuries.
