Singer Tuan Khang of GMC group passed away suddenly
On the afternoon of December 19, the family representative confirmed that singer Tuan Khang – former member of the group GMC – passed away due to an accident at his home on December 15. While going out to the balcony to get some fresh air, he slipped and fell from the second floor terrace to the ground. Tuan Khang was taken to the emergency room by his family, then transferred to the operating room but could not die because he was too ill. Due to the pain and shock of his passing, the family has not informed the public in recent days.

Singer Tuan Khang’s family held his funeral and cremation. The singer’s wife did not have time to return to Vietnam to see her husband for the last time.
Tuan Khang was born in 1981, the son of musician Nguyen Tat Tung – famous for his series of songs about Hue. In the early 2000s, he joined the boy band GMC, with members Le Dung, Anh Kiet, Ung Dai Ve, and Quoc Trung. The group is famous for its songs The moonlit night of love, Love will always follow us, A lifetime of travel, The sadness of a lonely night.
After GMC disbanded, Tuan Khang became a solo singer. He released the album TIn love people say in July 2007 with notable songs such as: In love people say, I will try to forget you… In 2016, he married Diane Tran – an American Vietnamese. Not long after, Tuan Khang moved to the US to settle with his wife and children, doing business and participating in music shows in the US.
