Wayward Pines is an American television series. The series premiered on Fox in 2015. It is based on a novel by Blake Crouch. The story takes place in a town called Wayward Pines, which appears to be a perfect American town. However, the residents of the town are trapped and unable to leave. They have no communication with the outside world and think they may be going insane. The series follows a Secret Service agent who goes to Wayward Pines in search of two federal agents who have gone missing in the town.
