Overview

Haven is a supernatural drama television series that premiered on Syfy. The series is loosely based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid. It is an American-Canadian co-production and was filmed on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The show was developed by Jim Dunn and Sam Ernst and deals with strange events in a fictional town in Maine named Haven. FBI agent Audrey Parker arrives in Haven to solve a murder and soon discovers the town's many secrets. Many in the coastal town of Haven, Maine have a dormant curse or trouble that could trigger at any time for any reason. The series features Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, and Richard Donat among its cast. Haven was cancelled in 2015 after a run of several years. The show explores the mysteries of Audrey Parker's lost past as she works with the sheriff and the town's black sheep to deal with the troubles' deadly consequences.
