Overview
Under the Dome is an American science fiction mystery drama television series that premiered on CBS on June 24, 2013, and concluded on September 10, 2015. Developed by Brian K. Vaughan, the show is loosely based on the 2009 novel by Stephen King. The plot centers on a small town called Chester's Mill, Maine, which is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous, transparent, and mysterious force field.
