Vikings is a historical drama television series created and written by Michael Hirst. The series tells the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, the greatest hero of his age, and transports viewers to the sagas of early medieval Scandinavia and beyond. Created for the History channel, the program is a co-production between Canada and Ireland.
