Jasper Pääkkönen is a Finnish actor born on July 15, 1980, in Helsinki, Finland. He gained fame in Finland playing Saku Salin in the television soap opera Salatut elämät. Pääkkönen has since appeared in several successful Finnish films, including Bad Boys, Matti: Hell Is for Heroes, and Lapland Odyssey. He made his international breakthrough in the historical drama television series Vikings, where he played the role of Halfdan the Black. Pääkkönen has also been attached to Spike Lee's Netflix original film Da 5 Bloods and has a major role in the upcoming Black Tower series. With a career spanning over 37 credits, Pääkkönen is a well-established actor in both Finland and internationally.
