Overview

Undead Unluck is a Japanese animated television series created by Yoshifumi Tozuka, based on his manga of the same name. The series follows Andy, a Negator with the ability called "Undead," which prevents him from dying permanently and causes him to resurrect repeatedly. He seeks a way to achieve true death. Fuko Izumo, a girl whose ability "Unluck" brings misfortune to those around her, meets Andy, and the two form an unlikely partnership. Together, they join the Union, an organization tasked with managing and protecting the world from unexplained phenomena related to individuals with special abilities known as Negators. As they work together, Andy and Fuko uncover deeper mysteries concerning the origins and purpose of the Negators and their powers. The series explores themes of fate, identity, and the nature of life and death through its supernatural premise and action-driven narrative. It features the voices of Yûichi Nakamura and Moe Kahara in its Japanese version. The show is an adaptation of a manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
