Overview

Dragon Ball DAIMA is a Japanese animated television series that continues the adventures of Goku and his companions in the Dragon Ball universe. Created by Akira Toriyama, the series features original storylines and character designs. In this installment, Goku and his friends undergo a mysterious transformation that reduces them to childlike versions of themselves. To reverse this change, they embark on a journey to the Demon Realm, a perilous and unfamiliar world. The series blends action-packed fighting sequences with increased comedic elements and storytelling, setting a tone that is less serious than its predecessors Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Voice actors from previous series, including Masako Nozawa, Kôki Uchiyama, and Yumiko Kobayashi, reprise their roles. The show retains the franchise's signature animation style while introducing new mythological elements tied to dragons and other legendary creatures. It premiered in 2024 and is set to conclude in 2025, offering fans a fresh narrative within the established Dragon Ball mythos.
