Overview

Tom and Jerry Kids Show is an American animated television series that originally premiered on Fox on September 8, 1990. The program was co-produced by H-B Production Co. and Turner Entertainment Co. and ran until 1993. The series features the classic cat-and-mouse duo of Tom and Jerry depicted as toddlers, specifically as a toddler kitten and a baby mouse. As an updated version of the original cartoons from the 1940s and 1950s, the show focuses on the characters during their childhood days. While the protagonists engage in their signature cat-and-mouse games, the series presents these versions of the characters as being far less violent than their adult counterparts. Despite this change in tone, the toddlers still find ways to cause trouble for each other and those around them. The voice cast for the series includes Frank Welker, Don Messick, Charlie Adler, and Teresa Ganzel. During its initial run, the program was known as Tom and Jerry Kids Show before later being referred to as Tom and Jerry Kids.
