The television series "Tokyo Mew Mew" is a story about a young girl who experiences a transformation after being exposed to a mysterious ray on her first date. This event results in her developing unique physical abilities and powers. She discovers that she has the agility of a cat, as well as the power to transform into a superheroine. She is not alone in this transformation, as she joins four other girls who have also undergone similar changes. Each of these girls has been endowed with the genes of a different animal, and they have been selected for a top-secret project. This project aims to protect the Earth from an alien menace known as Deep Blue.
