Overview

Yes! Precure 5 is the fourth season of the Precure anime series. Produced by Toei Animation and directed by Komura Toshiaki, the show premiered on TV Asahi on February 4, 2007. The series ran for 49 episodes and succeeded Futari wa Precure Splash Star in its timeslot. The story follows Nozomi Yumehara, a regular middle school student who discovers a magical book known as the Dream Collet in a library. Through this discovery, she meets creatures named Coco and Nuts from the Palmier Kingdom. These creatures explain that their world was destroyed by an organization called the Nightmares and ask Nozomi to help restore it by finding 55 Pinkies to complete the Dream Collet, which can grant any wish. After Nozomi agrees to assist them, Coco and Nuts transform her into the legendary warrior Cure Dream. Additionally, they grant four of her fellow students the ability to transform into members of her Pretty Cure team as the Nightmares begin moving into the real world.
