PreCure Splash Star is a Japanese magical girl anime series that is part of the larger Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo. The story follows two girls, Saki Hyuga and Mai Mishou, who share a history linked to a meeting at a mysterious tree during a summer festival five years prior. Saki is known as the ace pitcher for her school softball team, while Mai prefers sketching. Their lives change when they are chosen by two spirits named Flappy and Choppy. These spirits are identified as the spirits of flowers and birds, respectively. As the new Pretty Cure, Saki and Mai are tasked with restoring the Seven Fountains to protect their worlds from an entity known as Dark Autumn. The series explores their journey as they work together to fulfill this mission.
