HeartCatch PreCure is a television series that revolves around the life of a middle school girl who has a strong interest in flowers and plants. The story begins with the girl experiencing a peculiar dream, in which a large blooming tree appears and then loses its flowers, revealing two fairies. A short time later, the girl transfers to a new school, where the fairies from her dream suddenly appear, asking her to become a legendary warrior known as Pretty Cure. They plead with her to protect the Heart Tree, but the girl initially declines, citing her doubts about her ability to fulfill this role. However, a mysterious enemy soon strikes and steals the Heart Tree, prompting a series of events that sets the story in motion.
