Tiger Mask W is an action-adventure anime television series that premiered in 2016. The series revolves around two young wrestlers who face each other in a recently revived underground wrestling organization known as the Tiger's Lair. This organization destroyed the wrestling dojo where the two wrestlers grew up. One of the wrestlers took over the training facilities of Naoto Date at the foot of Mount Fuji and inherited his mask. The other wrestler entered the Tiger's Lair and won a competition, receiving a jet-black tiger mask. The two wrestlers are natural enemies, but they share a common goal of destroying the Tiger's Lair. They walk different paths, with one representing the path of light and the other the path of shadows.
