Overview

SK8 the Infinity is a Japanese original anime television series produced and animated by the studio Bones. The series, which premiered on January 11, 2021, on the Animazing programming block, was directed by Hiroko Utsumi. The story centers on a high school student named Reki Kyan, who is passionate about skateboarding. When Reki introduces a transfer student named Langa to the world of skateboarding, Langa finds himself drawn into a dangerous, top secret, no-holds-barred underground race known as S. This competition takes place within an abandoned mine. The series depicts the experiences of youths competing in these high-stakes races. In addition to the original anime, a comedy manga spin-off was serialized on the Young Ace Up website. The series is available to viewers in both subbed and dubbed formats.
