Overview

Tales of Symphonia: The Animation is a 2007 television series based on a video game. The narrative centers on two worlds that exist without knowledge of each other, both surviving by competing for the use of mana. The most significant figures in these environments are known as the chosens, who are tasked with a journey to awaken sleeping Summon Spirits, defeat the Desians, and restore mana to their lands. The story follows Lloyd Irving and his companions, including Colette Brunel, the Chosen of Sylvarant, and Genis Sage, described as the smartest child in Iselia. They are joined on their quest by Raine, who is Genis’ sister, and a mysterious mercenary named Kratos. As the group travels, they encounter additional friends and work to uncover the underlying truth regarding the process of World Regeneration. The series explores the challenges faced by these characters as they fulfill their roles in the survival of their respective worlds while navigating the complexities of their mission.
