Overview
Stigma of the Wind is a television series released in 2007. The story follows the journey of Kazuma Kannagi, who was banished from his family four years prior to the events of the series. His exile occurred after he suffered a defeat at the hands of his cousin, Ayano Kannagi, during a contest to determine the successor of the family sword known as Enraiha. This loss was compounded by his perceived lack of talent for En-Jutsu, the fire arts that serve as the specialty of the Kannagi family. After his departure, Kazuma eventually returns to the narrative under the name Kazuma Yagami. He is no longer the same individual who left years earlier, having developed into a skilled master of the wind arts, or Fū-Jutsu. The series explores his return and the shift in his abilities as he reintegrates into the world he once left behind. These events form the core premise of the program as it examines the dynamics between Kazuma and his family members.
