SCTV Network 90 is a television series that originated from a successful run in Canada. The show features a cast of unique and quirky characters, bringing with them their personalities and previous shows. The cast had previously appeared on Second City TV on Global and SCTV on CBC. A recurring straight man character is portrayed by Dick Blasucci, who had begun writing for the cast in their second series. Tony Rosato and Robin Duke initially wrote scripts for the show, similar to their previous work, but eventually left to pursue other opportunities as writers and performers.
