Episode recap

The television series NCIS follows the Major Case Response Team of the NCIS as they investigate criminal cases connected to United States Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families. The series, created by Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill, features a cast including Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, David McCallum, and Brian Dietzen, alongside other recurring and regular cast members such as Rocky Carroll.

In the eleventh episode of the twelfth season, titled Check, the NCIS team investigates copy-cat crime scenes. While handling this case, Gibbs navigates two ex-wives who are relentlessly trying to get his attention.

The mothership series originated as two back-door pilot episodes of an existing show, JAG, that aired in April 2003, before the series officially began broadcasting. Over the course of its run, the program has followed the special agents as they handle a wide range of investigations, moving from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, while focusing on crimes linked to Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families.
