Born Jeri Lynn Zimmermann to Gerhard Florian Zimmermann, she grew up on various Army posts in Kansas and Maryland as a military brat. She has one older brother named Mark. Professionally known as Jeri Ryan, she has established a long-standing career in television, accumulating 71 known acting credits.
