Alex Veadov is a Russian-American film and television actor who was born on April 15, 1962, in Chernovtsy, Ukrainian SSR, USSR, which is now Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Also known as Oleg Flyshecker or Alex J. V, his family was from the Caucasus. Active since the late 1980s, Veadov has appeared in television movies, television series, feature films, and has also voiced characters in computer and video games, frequently playing and voicing Russian characters. He is best known for starring as Vadim Nezhinski, a Russian mob drug lord and hit-man, in the film We Own the Night. Additionally, Veadov played the role of the drug smuggler Christo in the 2012 movie Act of Valor.
