Overview
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is a television series set in the year 0083 of the Universal Century. The narrative follows the aftermath of the One Year War, a conflict in which the Earth Federation defeated the Principality of Zeon. Three years after the conclusion of that war, a faction of Zeon remnants led by Aguille Delaz emerges from hiding to challenge the Federation once again. The conflict intensifies when Delaz sends his ace pilot, Anavel Gato, to infiltrate a Federation research base. During this mission, Gato successfully steals one of two prototype Gundams that had been secretly developed by the Federation, along with its accompanying nuclear warhead. Faced with the threat posed by the stolen mobile suit and the potential for renewed violence, the Earth Federation mobilizes to maintain peace. This series documents the escalating tensions between the Zeon remnants and the Federation forces as they contend with the consequences of the stolen technology and the looming possibility of further military engagement across the Universal Century timeline.
