Overview

Mix: Meisei Story is an animation and drama television series that first premiered in 2019. The story centers on Meisei Academy High School, an institution once celebrated for its strong baseball team due to the legend of Tatsuya Uesugi. Following twenty-six years of declining performance, the school has lost its former athletic prestige. The narrative follows two stepbrothers, Souichirou and Touma Tachibana, who are second-year students at Meisei Academy Middle School. Both boys are talented baseball players with a shared ambition to revive the school's baseball team and eventually participate in the National High School Baseball Championship. Souichirou demonstrates particular skill as both a catcher and a batter. The production has continued beyond its initial release, with a second season announced for a spring 2023 debut. The series explores the efforts of the two brothers as they attempt to restore the reputation of the Meisei Academy baseball program.
