Overview
Ojamajo Doremi, known as Magical DoReMi internationally, is a Japanese fantasy magical girl anime television series produced by Toei Animation that premiered in 1999. The show follows a group of elementary school girls who become witch apprentices while striving to keep their magical identities secret. Led by Doremi Harukaze, the characters navigate their dual lives as students and magical beings. The series ran until 2003 and included three direct sequels. During its original broadcast period, two companion films were released in theaters. An English dub was later produced by 4Kids Entertainment, with a preview episode airing in the United States on August 13, 2005. The first season of the English adaptation consisted of 26 episodes, with subsequent episodes grouped as season two and made available online beginning November 13, 2007. The series concluded its English release with its final episode on May 2, 2008.
