Overview

Kurau Phantom Memory is a science fiction anime series set in the year 2100. The story takes place on a lunar colony inhabited by scientists and pioneers who conduct experimental research. When a dangerous energy experiment malfunctions, it creates a catastrophic accident involving twin bolts of light. This incident affects Kurau, who is the daughter of chief scientist Amami So. Rather than causing death, the accident results in Kurau becoming host to two mysterious entities. These entities grant her extraordinary abilities while simultaneously diminishing her affection for humanity. The series explores themes of scientific experimentation gone wrong and the consequences of humanity's reach into unknown energies.
