My-Otome is a 2005 television series set in the distant future on the planet Earl, a world colonized centuries ago by immigrants from Earth. The narrative centers on the existence of ancient technology in the form of nanomachines, which grant female virgins the ability to utilize Highly-advanced Materializing Equipment. These individuals, known as Meister Otomes, function as warriors and bodyguards for the royalty of various kingdoms. The story begins when Arika Yumemiya travels to the Windbloom Kingdom to search for her mother, who was previously an Otome. Upon her arrival, she encounters Nina Wáng, the top student among the Coral Otomes, and Mashiro Blan de Windbloom, the heir to the throne of the Windbloom Kingdom. The series follows the subsequent progress of Arika as she navigates this society and her own journey. The program explores the roles of these specialized protectors within the political structure of the planet, focusing on the interactions between the characters as they pursue their respective goals within the kingdom.
