Overview

Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger is a Japanese action‑adventure series that blends science‑fiction and fantasy elements for a young audience. The story traces its origins to a conflict that began 65 million years ago when the knights of the Ryusoul Tribe were chosen to fight the dictatorial Druidon Tribe, which sought to dominate Earth. The Druidon campaign was interrupted by a meteor that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, forcing the Druidon to flee into space. As a precaution, the powerful mech‑like Kishiryu were placed in a deep sleep, ready to awaken if the Druidon ever returned. Over the ensuing millennia the surviving knights adopted a peaceful way of life, passing their heroic mantle from one generation to the next. In the present day the Druidon reappear, intent on reclaiming the planet, and the latest generation of warriors—known as the Ryusoulgers—must awaken the Kishiryu and resume the ancient battle to protect Earth.
