Go! Princess PreCure is a television series that premiered in 2015. The series is classified under genres including kids, animation, comedy, action and adventure, family, drama, and science fiction and fantasy.
The story is set in a boarding junior high school named Noble Academy. The protagonist is Haruka Haruno, a thirteen-year-old first-year student whose lifelong dream is to become a princess, inspired by a princess from a picture book she has kept since childhood. Prince Kanata of Hope Kingdom previously gave her a Dress Up Key as a good-luck charm when she was little, and she uses it to transform into Cure Flora.
During her time at the school, she encounters other Pretty Cure girls. These include fourteen-year-old Minami Kaidou, who transforms into Cure Mermaid, and thirteen-year-old Kirara Amanogawa, who transforms into Cure Twinkle.
