Overview

Falcon Crest is an American primetime television soap opera created by Earl Hamner Jr. that aired on the CBS network for nine seasons. The series premiered on December 4, 1981, and concluded on May 17, 1990, with a total of 227 episodes produced. Set in the fictitious Tuscany Valley located northeast of San Francisco, the program focuses on the California wine industry. The narrative centers on the feuding factions of the wealthy Gioberti and Channing families. Jane Wyman starred as Angela Channing, the tyrannical matriarch of the Falcon Crest Winery. Robert Foxworth appeared as Chase Gioberti, Angela’s nephew, who returns to the estate following the death of his father. Additional cast members included Lorenzo Lamas, Chao Li Chi, and David Selby.
