David Lynn Selby is an American character and stage actor born on February 5, 1941. He has worked in movies, soap operas, and television. Selby is known for his roles as Quentin Collins on the ABC-TV serial Dark Shadows, which he played from 1968 to 1971, and as Richard Channing on the CBS soap opera Falcon Crest, a role he played from 1982 to 1990. He also reprised his role as Quentin Collins in a recent audio revival of Dark Shadows.
