Barney Miller is an American sitcom television series that depicts the daily operations of a police station. Created by Danny Arnold and Theodore J. Flicker, the program aired on ABC from January 23, 1975, to May 20, 1982. The series is set within a New York City Police Department station located on East 6th Street in Greenwich Village, Lower Manhattan.
