PROVERBS 16:21:
The wise in heart are called discerning,
and gracious words promote instruction.
Words. Sometimes words can be difficult, and our tone can enhance or sour our message. In this verse, God highlighted that our choice of words is imperative to others being able to hear or learn from us. They are to be gracious, sweet as a honeycomb being sweet to the soul and health to the bones [v. 24]. As we train others around the world, we ask God’s divine leading in giving us discernment and understanding rooted in our hearts, and that our choice of words today bring learning and instruction to the people who need to hear from the Lord. We pray this over you as well, that your choice of words pours into your household like a sweet honeycomb.
