Teddy Robin is a Hong Kong English pop singer-songwriter, actor, and director and producer. Born in Guilin, Guangxi, China, on March 2, 1945, he began his music career in the mid-1960s. He formed a rock and roll band called Teddy Robin and the Playboys, which was the first Chinese-led rock band in Hong Kong. As an actor, Teddy Robin started to get involved in the movie industry in the 1970s. He produced his first movie, Cops and Robbers, in 1979. Teddy Robin has acted in numerous films, with a total of 90 known credits.
