Jackie Chan, born Chan Kong-sang on 7 April 1954, is a Hong Kong-born actor, filmmaker, and martial artist. Active since the 1970s, he has appeared in over 100 films. He is recognized for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, and innovative stunts, which he typically performs himself. Chan played a significant role in bringing kung fu cinema into the American mainstream through films such as Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, Police Story, Drunken Master, and Rumble in the Bronx. Beyond his work as an actor and stuntman, he is an entrepreneur and a singer who has released multiple albums. He has received stars on both the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
