Sydney Bernice Sweeney is an American actress born on September 12, 1997, in Spokane, Washington. She is the daughter of Lisa Mudd Sweeney, a former criminal defense lawyer, and Steven Sweeney, who works in the medical field. Recognized as an Emmy-nominated performer, she gained prominence for her roles in the television series Euphoria and the first season of The White Lotus. Her acting credits also include appearances in The Handmaid’s Tale, the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the romantic comedy Anyone but You, and the psychological thriller The Housemaid. She has a younger brother named Trent Sweeney. Her early career was supported by her family, who encouraged her to explore various interests during her youth.
