He is known for portraying Malcolm Winters on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, Derek Morgan on the CBS drama Criminal Minds, and the title character Hondo on the CBS series S.W.A.T. From 1999 to 2003 he served as the third permanent host of the music‑television program Soul Train. Moore’s film work includes appearances in Diary of a Mad Black Woman and The Brothers. In animation he has provided the voice of Victor Stone, also known as Cyborg, in several Justice League cartoon series.
