Biography
Shania Twain is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actor. Born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, she is one of three daughters of Clarence and Sharon (Morrison) Edwards. At age six, her mother remarried Jerry Twain, a full-blooded Ojibwa native, who adopted her as his own. As a child, Twain sang in bars after hours, and at age thirteen, she appeared on The Tommy Hunter Show.
